1. Scope and contract formation
These terms explain use of the MENA Forwarding website and the basis for discussing logistics services. Submitting an inquiry does not create a booking, guarantee acceptance or appoint us as carrier. Services begin only after written confirmation of scope, price, responsible contracting entity and relevant shipment terms. A specific written agreement prevails over general website information to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
2. Quotations, charges and payment
Quotes depend on declared cargo, packed dimensions, weight, route, dates and availability. Confirm quote validity, currency, chargeable-weight rules, inclusions, exclusions and payment schedule in writing. Customs duties, taxes, inspections, storage, demurrage, detention, remote delivery or handling extras are included only if expressly stated. Changes to cargo or routing may require a revised quote. Verify changed payment instructions through an established contact before paying.
3. Customer information and lawful cargo
You must provide accurate descriptions, quantities, values, weights, dimensions, addresses and required documents, and have authority to instruct shipment. Disclose batteries, liquids, chemicals, dangerous goods, temperature requirements and restricted products before acceptance. Do not tender illegal, counterfeit, undeclared hazardous or prohibited cargo. Acceptance depends on the carrier, route and applicable import, export and trade restrictions.
4. Packing, warehousing and inspection
Cargo must be suitably packed and labeled for the agreed transport. Receiving, consolidation, photos, repacking, product checks, storage allowances and inventory reporting are included only within the agreed scope. A visual or quantity check does not certify product quality, authenticity or regulatory compliance. Confirm storage charges, release instructions and any special handling before delivery to the warehouse.
5. Customs, import responsibility and delivery
The agreed service must identify the importer of record, parties responsible for declarations, duties and taxes, and the delivery point. Customs support does not guarantee clearance or replace licenses, permits or accurate declarations. Door-to-door service does not automatically mean duties paid or importer services included. Any Incoterms® rule and edition apply only when expressly incorporated into the relevant agreement.
6. Schedules and events beyond control
Transit times and sailing or flight schedules are estimates unless a specific written guarantee is agreed. Inspections, congestion, weather, capacity changes, strikes, conflict or government restrictions can affect routing and timing. Affected arrangements and additional costs must be assessed under the shipment agreement; this statement does not create a blanket exemption from responsibility.
7. Insurance, liability and claims
Cargo insurance is not automatically included; request written confirmation of cover, insured value, exclusions and deductible before dispatch. Responsibility for loss, damage or delay depends on the responsible party, transport document, agreed terms and applicable mandatory law or convention. No universal liability cap is set by this website. Inspect deliveries, note visible discrepancies, preserve packaging and evidence, and notify the shipment contact promptly. Claim deadlines differ by transport mode and contract; request the applicable procedure and time limits immediately. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes, cancellation and refunds
Request changes or cancellation in writing as early as possible. Approval depends on the stage of work and third-party commitments. Charges for work already performed or non-recoverable bookings may remain payable where provided by the agreement and applicable law. Any refund, deduction and payment timing must be confirmed against actual services, costs and the agreed terms; there is no general free-cancellation promise.
9. Website use and third-party information
Do not misuse the inquiry form, introduce malicious code, seek unauthorized access or infringe others’ rights. Website text, branding and images may be protected by intellectual-property rights; obtain permission for reuse beyond applicable legal exceptions. Destination guides and external links provide general information and are not a substitute for shipment-specific professional advice. Third-party services have their own terms.
10. Disputes, applicable law and updates
Raise any concern through the contact below with the relevant quotation or shipment reference. Governing law and dispute forum for a shipment should be stated in its written contract, subject to mandatory jurisdiction and rights; the website does not select a forum for every shipment. Updated website terms apply from their stated date and do not automatically rewrite an existing shipment contract.
