This policy covers MENA Forwarding website inquiries and related communications. The company and privacy contact are listed below. A shipment contract may identify additional parties and information requirements.
2. Information you provide
The inquiry form collects your name or company, email, destination, service preference and cargo details. Required fields are marked; without them we cannot process the form. If you proceed with a shipment, we may need pickup and delivery contacts, addresses, invoices, packing lists and customs documents. Provide only relevant information and ensure you are authorized to share another person’s details. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or identity documents through the inquiry form.
3. Technical information
The server may record IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and errors for operation and security. The inquiry handler uses a short-lived value derived from your IP address to limit repeated submissions for one minute. The stored inquiry contains the submitted fields; it does not include a dedicated IP-address field. See our Cookie Policy for browser storage.
4. Purposes and applicable grounds
We use your information to assess cargo feasibility, prepare and explain quotations, respond to you, coordinate agreed services, maintain business records and prevent misuse. Depending on applicable law, processing may be necessary for steps you request before a contract, contract performance, legal obligations or legitimate operational interests, or may require consent. The inquiry checkbox authorizes a reply to your request; it is not a subscription to marketing.
5. Recipients and international handling
Authorized staff can access inquiries in the website administration system. Hosting and technical providers may process information to operate the site. For requested logistics services, relevant details may be shared with suppliers, warehouses, carriers, customs brokers, destination agents and authorities where necessary. Parties may be in Hong Kong, mainland China or the shipment destination. Applicable transfer requirements must be addressed for the service concerned. We do not sell inquiry data or use it for advertising profiles.
6. Retention and security
Inquiries are saved in the website database for staff review. Retention depends on the inquiry status, subsequent shipment, accounting or legal requirements and any dispute. Information should be removed or anonymized when no longer needed, subject to required records and backup cycles. The inquiry system does not currently apply automatic deletion after a fixed period. You may ask us to review continued retention. Access restrictions and submission validation reduce risk, but no internet transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your rights and requests
Contact the privacy contact below to request access or correction, or ask about deletion, restricted use, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent where available under applicable law. We may need proportionate identity verification and will explain any lawful restriction on your request. Withdrawal does not undo prior lawful processing and may prevent further handling of the inquiry. You may raise concerns with the competent data protection authority; for Hong Kong, this is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.
8. External services, children and updates
WhatsApp and other external links lead to independent services governed by their own privacy terms. The site is intended for business logistics inquiries, not services directed at children. If a child’s information was provided in error, contact us. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with a revised date; where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent.
